Deutsches Haus in Kusel

We have been visiting this restaurant for over 25 years. Always delicious! But about 2 weeks ago we ordered food that was unfortunately not that great. The sauce from the hunter schnitzel tasted burnt and the schnitzel was limp. You can do better!

All about very tasty food, great quality and great service! For me personally, however, smaller portions would be enough, especially for the low price.

The dishes are delicious. Portions are generally always a lot. So here you will definitely get full. Taste 10/10 rarely eaten so delicious.

Not only large portions, but also the taste, price and quality are right. Staff always nice and courteous. Simply top??? Ordered several steaks to go now. Always fried to the point and the side salad is absolutely great. Usually I don't value the salad, but I don't want to go without it with you.

This review is long over due but it's memorably bad enough that I need to write about it. I stopped here after a long day traveling. The food was great but the service struck me as being as passive-aggressive hostile as it could get. That's my main memory of this restaurant, and I have no intention of returning.

Great restaurant with large tasty portions. The male waitress is very nice. In Corona times I often get lunch to be able to support the operator. The only criticism: In the summer I wanted to order something to pick up for 4 people on Sundays, received a rejection 3 times in a row (too much business).

My favorite restaurant in the Kusel district. Very tasty different and varied dishes. Something for everyone. You will definitely get full, that's what the German House is known for.

The German House is our regular restaurant. We were already guests of the grandparents of the current boss. The quality of the food and the portion sizes have not changed. Still very good. The staff is super friendly.

We ordered food to be picked up yesterday and it was ready to be picked up after 15 minutes. What you get for your money here is really great! Very large portions and very tasty! Homemade. Big compliments to the boss and the male waitress, who were very friendly ?

To be honest, I wouldn't have expected that from the outside picture ... but the food was delicious and the portions huge (almost too big ?). There is also a huge selection and the service staff are very kind and friendly. Oh and how it should be in a good middle-class German house, a schnapps (or similar) for free after dinner! In short ... was the most void last visit??

Lunch table, € 7.50 for a schnitzel with fries. What more can you say. It was delicious, very friendly and relaxed staff. Despite the current restrictions. Good plain cuisine without much glamor. Booking in advance makes sense, especially if you want a nice place outside.

Cozy lunch! Should reserve in advance, as it is usually well attended. Food is good and large portions. Service friendly and helpful. Price and performance are okay. Because of the heavy rush, it took a little bit today. Clear recommendation and large menu. It is also possible to take it with you!

Great friendly place good food fair price

Very nice place with homemade German food. Some of waiters speak English but all of them are very friendly. Be sure to book the table before you get here, specially by the weekend.

Good food, be prepared for huge portion sizes on the schnitzel. Ended up being my dinner for 2 nights, not that it's a bad thing.

My husband and I have been going here regularly for over a year now. It is our favorite schnitzel we have found in all of Germany. The staff is so friendly and some even know English (and on even remembers my order in English). I highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Germany has friends/family visiting and looking to show an authentic German meal! Reservations recommended. Not open a couple of days a week so double check the schedule before going if you don't make a reservation in advance.

One of the best places to get tasty German cuisine we've tried in the last year. They have a variety of schnitzels that are unique and delicious. Best dinner salad so far in Germany.
